 The cultivation theory refers to the lasting effects of media, like televison to viewers. For example how well a show may depict a real person in its program to its viewers that switches up some aspects of that person bettering cultivateing their character. In this case: Pablo Escobar


The reality celebrity acting to be Pablo Escobar have many similarities to the actual one.

Hair grooming and even some makeup were used to closely match the pair as much as possible.

The actor had a mustache identical to that of the real Pablo Escobar making him a good person to portray him.

However the actor’s face is a bit more shaped and skinnier than the real Pablo Escobar’s which is more long and chu When it comes to the events that happened with Pablo Escobar, the TV show and reality had their differences.

Former DEA agent Javier Pena who worked to track down the real Pablo Escobar said events tracking down Escobar were not as exciting like portrayed on the show.

It was influenced for entertainment. The real Pablo Escobar was indeed a killer, but the TV show “Narcos” made him seem like a person of massacre. “Narcos” makes clear his pitiless willingness to murder thousands of innocent politicians, judges, and children in the quest to fill his own pockets.

However, the actual Escobar really has in reality, killed a percentage of what is portrayed in the In Hollywood, Pablo Escobar is shown as a” Family Man”.

He was shown as helping the poor with his ill-gotten fortune, but that was all fantasy. Pablo Escobar was really just a manipulator.These false implications on the billionaire drug lord could have a impact on impressionable people.

They easily believe someone to be something they're not. Also give false knowledge on events, believing scenarios are real but in reality they never happened.

This definitely cultivates a sense of false reality as people will be misinformed in life between things that are fact or fiction
